Genderfluid | Adjective | An individual whose gender identity shifts over time |
Genderqueer | Adjective | An umbrella term similar to non-binary, but is inclusive to cisgender or trasgender individuals who feel they have a non-normative experience with their gender |
Misgender | Verb | To use incorrect terminology or pronouns while referring to another's gender identity. Can be accidental or purposeful |
NB | Noun | Abbreviated Initials of "Non-Binary", sometimes refers to a "Non-Binary Person" |
Neopronoun | Noun | New pronouns used instead of he, she, or they alternatives |
Non-Binary | Adjective | A gender identity where an individual does not identify with being either a man or a woman |
Pronoun | Noun | A word to refer to someone else, either in the discourse or mentioned. Typically these are the gendered "he" or "she" examples to refer to males or females respectively |
Queer Coding | Verb | To imply using subtext that a character is LGBTQ+ |
